Tourism in Jharkhand

Jharkhand came up as an independent state on 15 November 2000. The state capital is Ranchi. The state is famously known as land of woods, it is a nice place to

visit and explore. Most of the parts of the state are covered with tribal area. The state of Jharkhand has many industries, mines, minerals and wildlife sanctuaries. The tourism of Jharkhand holds more attraction for both the domestic and inbound tourists. Jharkhand is a state which also has broad, evergreen forests, waterfalls, wildlife, scenic beauty, holiday resorts and a good climate that attracts many tourists to the state.

Jharkhand shares its border with the states of Bihar to the north, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to the west, Orissa to the south, and West Bengal to the east.The state lies at 24' 3" to 24' 5" North Latitude 86' 9" to 87' 4" East Longitude and is 2019 mts. above the sea level.
