Maharaja Express Train Tour

IRCTC with Cox and Kings India Ltd. have signed a joint venture to set up Royale Indian Rail Tours Ltd. And they proudly give you their creation - the Maharajas' Express. Young Joydip Mitra who haven't travelled abroad but yet designed a beautiful dream on the tracks of Indian railways. A great design of this train is developed by the Integral Coach Factory at Chennai.

Every need of passengers will maintained in this train. This train have five carriages for Deluxe Cabins, six for Junior Suites, two for Suites and one for grand Presidential Suite. All Presidential suite rooms, occupies an entire coach and comes with white

marble flooring, rosewood wardrobes, handcrafted furniture with intricate ivory and a nice glass window in a new style offering a glorious view. In this train we have 20 deluxe cabins and 22 other suites which also have a full with luxury features. All suites in this train come with individual temperature controls, which is the new technology used in this first train in India. In Every rooms have a facility of LCD televisions, DVD players, direct dial telephone and internet which keep you entertained through the royal journey. Every suite also has electronic safe deposit box so that passengers can give safety to there costly items.

For royal passengers in this train, the Maharajas' Express has place a two fine dining restaurants in which 42 persons seat at a time and everyone on board dines together. Wines and beer served on dining come complimentary of course. This train has a exotic safari bar with the collection of wines, beer and spirits with snacks come complimentary to every passenger. The crockery and cutlery are 24- carat gold- plated which is placed from at the Mayur Mahal restaurant and water supply come from a purification plant on this train.

Documents for travel in this train are valid passenger(s) named, which will be issued after receipt of full payment in the time of reservation which is not later than 14 days prior to departure. Please carry your ticket with you on departure.

What Includes In Your Ticket

Ticket prices include accommodation in double / twin bedded cabins with en suite bathrooms, all meals, soft beverages, house brands of Indian wines, beer and spirits, butler service, entrance fees of tourist spots, transport and services of a guide. Tea, coffee and mineral water is complimentary on board and baggage handling at stations.

Baggage Allowance

According to design of the room there is limited storage space. They recommend that each passengers travels with luggage as per international airline - rules for first / business class passengers. We advisable to carry soft-topped luggage as it is easier to store. Luggage storage is provided under the bed and in the luggage hold.

Travel Guide

You will be accompanied by professional and qualified English speaking guides. They employ experienced local guides who provide an invaluable and in-depth view of the sights that you visit. Language speaking guides can be provided by this train authority, which is subject to availability and at an extra cost. Please let us know of your requirement at the time of booking.

Smoking Policy

Accordance to Indian Law, smoking is not permitted on board the train. Smoking is also prohibited in all public places such as restaurants, airports, stations, shopping malls, hotels, public areas etc.
