Tourism in Nainital

Naini, a word which shows the feeling of the cool air and thought of lake (Taal), when we merge this two words then it becomes Nainital, which is surrounded by mountains by three sides. It is a small and beautiful place in Kumaon hills of Uttaranchal, Nainital. Nainital is amongst the most visited hill stations of North India every year. Places to visit in Nainital

Naina Peak

It is just 6 km. far from the town, it’s also known by the name of China Peak. It is highest point in Nainital. From this major peak spot you can capture a beautiful view of Nainital, you can also see the Himalayan hill range from here by naked eyes.

Bhimtal

The largest and beautiful lake in Nainital region, it’s located in green valley, which is 22 km. far from here and it’s 1371 meters above from the sea level.

Sat Tal

This means the group of seven lakes situated in one place. Sat Tal is situated 1370 meters above from the sea level & just 12 km. away from Nainital.

Naukuchia Tal

It is 25 kms away from Nainital city and just 4 kms far from Bhimtal. It is a beautiful lake with its nine corners that why it is knows as Naukuchia Tal. It’s also an ideal place for boating.

Snow View

The snow view is situated at the height of 2270 meters from the sea level. The only way to reach here by the ropeway trolley.
